On Monday 16 August, Sampaloc Site II Elementary School celebrated Appreciation Day which was participated by the SSIIES community through Google Meet and Facebook Live. This event recognizes the contributions and honors SSIIES internal and external stakeholders.

Mrs. Maria Cristina N. Balbaboco, the school principal graced us with her opening message and proudly congratulated all the awardees. It is also such an honor that Mrs. Marita G. Briones, Public Schools District Supervisor, rendered her inspiring message followed by our Hon. Rocel Espino with her word of encouragement.

In the said event, all the teachers who showed their relentless effort in performing their special assignments for the School Year 2020 – 2021 were recognized and awarded. Three hardworking teachers (Ms. Sarah Jane T. Torzar, Mr. Raymond Sam B. Ledesma, and Mr. Richard A. Sucgang) were acknowledged and were given special awards for their never-ending effort to do their tasks and for bringing great achievement for SSIIES.  During the program, all the Non-Teaching staffs and School PTA officers were also recognized for their invaluable service and support for this school year. Learning Support Aides (LSAs) were also appreciated for their services which contributed to the success of the school in reinforcing the implementation of the Basic Education Continuity Plan in time of COVID-19 Pandemic. Certainly, efforts paid off as the school celebrates Appreciation Day for School Year 2020 – 2021.

Hats off to all the awardees! (by Kathleen R. De Leon)
