Coordination Meeting provides a mechanism
for participants to discuss and develop a common understanding on key capacity
building issues and priority needs. It also provides an opportunity to review
and consider ways of addressing the gaps or overlaps between existing
activities. Also, it activates function of management and helps in achieving
harmony among individual efforts which facilitates them to work together
performing their functions in their respective parts to achieve perfect
synchronization and achieve the common goal of the institution. 

In connection with this, Sampaloc Site II
Elementary School piloted its very first Virtual Coordination Meeting and
Kamustahan with Stakeholders on September 4, 2021, attended by the different
stakeholders in the community including the Barangay BF Council, SK Officials,
Purok Leaders/SSII Federation, SPTA Officers, teaching and non-teaching staff. It
started at 1:10 in the afternoon hosted by Ma’am Jennilyn Rivera and Ma’am
Vanessa Parangan. A nationalistic song and prayer spearheaded the session
played via VTR. Ma’am Arlene Salise, Master Teacher I, acknowledged the
participants virtually and was followed by a Welcome Remarks by Ma’am Cherry
Forcadas, Master Teacher I.

  An audio-visual presentation
on SSIIES IN THE NEW NORMAL signaled the onset of the highlight of the
conference. Among the significant features,were the topics on the preparations
for school year 2021-2022 including the enrollment which was comprehensively
discussed by the guidance designate/Master Teacher I, Ma’am Mercy Yude, Oplan
Balik Eskwela concerns which was elaborated by Sir Freddie Aguilar as the focal
person, Learning Resources concerns and updates which was presented by Sir
Raymund Sam Ledesma as the ICT Coordinator, Learning Modality which was tackled
by Ma’am Maria Cristina Balbaboco adopting the blended
learning-ODL/MDL-printed/MDL-digitized and the health and safety protocols
enforced and other related concerns were thoroughly presented by Sir Ronel
Donato, SDRRMC Coordinator.

         A call to action/strengthening partnership was presented
by Ma’am Maria Cristina Balbaboco, School Principal. She stressed out seven
salient concerns including the enrolment- reaching out to some of the learners
without access in online registration with the collaboration and coordination
of the Barangay Captain and Community leaders , distribution of learning
resources compliant to health and safety protocols that incudes the SLMs,
tablets and OTGs with planned schedule by grade level, completion of Wi-Fi
Connectivity for pupils with gadget but no internet connectivity to coordinate
with the Barangay Officials for the access points, defective tablets for
parents who cannot afford the repair payment to secure a certificate of
indigency , home spaces conducive for learning, regular disinfection of school
facility and the maintenance of  the
multi-purpose hall  for maintaining the
cleanliness and request of painting materials for the  dilapidated walls as well.

            An open forum was opened for queries facilitated by Sir
Rufino Bernal, Faculty President. It was followed by the messages of support
from Coach Binky Favis, the Barangay Captain, Hon. John Paolo Marquez including
some of the Barangay Council Hon, Rocel, Espino, Hon. Cielo Lazatin, Hon. Noel
Azarcon, Hon. Sheryl Gonzales, Hon. Reynaldo Casanova and Hon. Robert Ty, the
SK Chairwoman, Mariel Angela Tumang, SSII Federation President, Martin Ortogo
together with some of the community leaders, Ortencia Tumazar and Suzette Nuñez
and the SPTA President, Cecile Pamalo who extended their willingness and
public-spirited support for attaining and realization of the common goal.
