As the school’s operation was strained by COVID-19 pandemic, School-Based Feeding Program must continue to ensure they can reach the beneficiaries even if they are not in classroom. In November 17, 2020,  SBFP  in Sampaloc Site II Elementary School headed by Ma’am Alma S. Pingol was back on trail to reach out and make sure  that 748 vulnerable children will benefit the nutritious Food Products and fresh milk component.

           The distribution of the milk components was done in 60-days and the nutri packs including nutria buns and nutri butter as well. These was handed to the parents by claiming it in school along with the replenished modules/retrieved answer sheets.

           The SBFP primarily aims to address hunger and encourage learners to enroll, contribute to the improvement of the nutritional status of the recipients, provide nourishment for their growth and development and help boost immune system and enhance health and nutrition values and behavior.                            by: Marlene T.
